Going to Brazil? need help/advice?

So me and 3 of my friends going to Brazil/ Rio. on March or late Feb, for the festival. So we are looking for a great package deals, because its best if we found one now than later, because prices will most likely go up around that time. Plzz help us finding a good deal..We each willing to spend 1300 maybe 1500, and we trying to stay for a week or more, if we find a good deals that fall into our prices.

Also my friend from Brazil said that those place are dangerous “copacabana, leblon, or ipanema.” So plzz tell us sumerwea safe we can go to enjoy the carnival, beach, and the girls.. hehehehe

I am 20 and they both 21. THANKS IN ADVENCE

Carnival in 2011 is from 5-8 March and people start partying around March 1st. During that time hotel prices are going to be more expensive so it might be kind of hard to get airfare/hotel/food and everything else for under $1500. Tripadvisor.com is a good place to find the best deals.

The beach neighborhoods you menitoned (Copacabana, Leblon, Ipanema) are not very dangerous. Leblon and Ipanema are especially safe and you shouldn’t have any problems. If you want to beach and the girls, than Ipanema is the place to me. If you want to see the Carnival parade, you need to get tickets to Sambadromo.

Get your tickets early though, because like you said, prices will go up!!!!
